Team Tasks is a team task manager built on Google Tasks: shared kanban boards, assignees, and comments, layered on the tasks your team already uses. Connect your Google account and everything stays in sync, both ways.
No credit card required · Sign in with Google · Unlimited seats during trial
Your Google account is the connection — no separate passwords, no imports. Your existing task lists appear instantly.
Invite your team by email. Turn task lists into shared boards with columns, or use app-native statuses.
Assign tasks, comment, label, and track — while everything keeps syncing back to Google Tasks, Gmail, and mobile.
Google Tasks is great for one person. Team Tasks adds the team layer — without asking anyone to leave the tools they already use.
Kanban boards the whole workspace can see and edit, with roles and guest access per board.
Assign tasks to teammates, discuss in threaded comments with @mentions, and see a full activity log.
One agenda across every workspace: assigned to you, due today, and overdue — your daily starting point.
Forward any email to a board's address and it becomes a task — subject as title, body as notes.
See tasks and your Google Calendar events side by side — read-only calendar access, only if you turn it on.
Real repeating tasks with flexible rules. Completing one — in the app or in Google — spawns the next.
Save task checklists or whole board layouts. Instantiate with smart date offsets — sprints, launches, onboarding.
Mark tasks as blocked-by others. See what's holding work up before it becomes a surprise.
Throughput per board, overdue counts, and per-assignee load — the pulse of your team at a glance.
Team Tasks doesn't replace Google Tasks — it upgrades it. Every change flows both directions, so nobody on your team has to change how they work. With your permission, Team Tasks reads and updates your Google Tasks, and reads your Google Calendar only if you turn on the calendar view — nothing else, ever. Details in the Privacy Policy.

Next on the roadmap: a fast native app for Mac, Windows, and Linux — built for capturing work the moment it comes up, online or not.

Start 14-day free trialNo. Anyone can keep using Google Tasks in Gmail, on Android, or on iOS. Team Tasks syncs both ways, so board changes show up in Google and vice versa. The team layer — assignees, comments, labels — lives in Team Tasks.
Changes made in Team Tasks appear instantly for everyone in the workspace and push to Google right away. Changes made on the Google side are picked up by a background sync that runs about every 10 minutes — or on demand with the board's Sync now button.
Your tasks already live in your Google account — they're yours and they stay there. Workspace data like comments and labels stays available until you delete the workspace, and support can provide a copy on the way out.
Just your Google Tasks and basic profile info at sign-up. Calendar access is only requested if you open the calendar view, and it's read-only.
No free plan — but the 14-day trial is fully featured, includes unlimited seats, and doesn't require a credit card. Guests on shared boards are always free.
Every workspace pays for at least 10 seats — $10/month — even with fewer members. Beyond 10, each additional member is $1/month, prorated automatically as your team changes. It's one bill per workspace, not per person.
It's next on the roadmap: a native desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux, targeted for this December and included in every plan. It will add a global quick-add shortcut, a menubar My Day, native notifications, and offline access to your boards.
Team Tasks is an installable web app (PWA) with push notifications on Android and iOS. And since everything syncs to Google Tasks, the native Google Tasks mobile apps work too.
Connect your Google account and see your tasks on a shared board in under two minutes.
